SOMEBODY IS RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT….
SOMEBODY IS RAISING THEIR KID RIGHT!
One Nation, ‘Under God.’
One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a
classroom. The teacher was going to explain
evolution to the children. The teacher asked
a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree
outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass
outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see
if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes
later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God up there?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That’s my point. We can’t see
God because he isn’t there. Possibly he just
doesn’t exist.
A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the
boy some questions.
The teacher agreed and the little girl asked
the boy: Tommy, do you see the tree
outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass
outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss!
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the
teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we
were taught today in school, she possibly
may not even have one!

Well written article.

what a dumb story. if this is meant to denounce empiricism, then it’s an utter failure. it is an empirical fact that all humans have a brain. you don’t need to cut open everyone’s head to prove it.

jerQ stop being all scientifical ur a jerk i thought the article was funny i liked it because most people do try to teach children about steering away from god today AND THEY SHOULDN,T DO THAT!!!

Way to promote your filth and lies. Who needs an education when you can just believe in God and be just like every other dipshit fanboy and fangirl?

TT,
who is a jerk, someone denouncing another commenter for his “scientifical”ness, the same idiot who gives no reasons to not steer children away from god, who is not real.
or the commenter who supports his reason and doesn’t denounce anybody in particular but expresses his opinion on the joke. But then again, science, free will, opinions, that has never been a big thing in faith and religion now has it?

I don’t see how this fits the subject of evolution either. If you agree in blind faith, why don’t you just walk into a busy intersection with your eyes closed and see how far faith takes you.
Oh and tt, so its perfectly fine to force a child in believing your religion, but it is wrong to show them other possibilities?
