BEST PRAYER 443

This is one of the best prayers I think I have ever read. Pray this even of you don’t  feel like it ! It will only take a minute. I started to not do this , but as I read it I understood God to say, ‘You need a miracle tomorrow’. So here goes… Proverb 29:25:
 

You never know
When God is going to bless you!!
Good things happen when
You least expect them to !!!!!!!!
Change the number in the subject box
When you forward it by adding one!!!
Dear Lord, I thank You for this day,
I thank You for my being able to see
And to hear this morning.
I’m blessed because You are
A forgiving God and
An understanding God.
You have done so much for me
And You keep on blessing me.
Forgive me this day for everything
I have done, said or thought
That was not pleasing to you.
I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe
From all danger and harm.
Help me to start this day
With a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.
Let me make the best of each and every day
To clear my mind so that I can hear from You.
Please broaden my mind
That I can accept all things.
Let me not whine and whimper
Over things I have no control over.
And give me the best response
When I’m pushed beyond my limits.
I know that when I can’t pray,
You listen to my heart.
Continue to use me to do Your will.
Continue to bless me that I may be
A blessing to others.
Keep me strong that I may help the weak…
Keep me uplifted that I may have
Words of encouragement for others.
I pray for those that are lost
And can’t find their way.
I pray for those that are misjudged
And misunderstood.
I pray for those who
Don’t know You intimately.
I pray for those that will delete this
Without sharing it with others
I pray for those that don’t believe.
But I thank You that I believe
That God changes people and
God changes things.
I pray for all my sisters and brothers.
For each and every family member
In their households.
I pray for peace, love and joy
In their homes; that they are out of debt
And all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this
Knows there is no problem, circumstance,
Or situation greater than God.
Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received
Into the hearts of every eye that sees it
In Jesus’  name.  Amen!

Just repeat this phrase and see how God moves!!

LORD PROP US UP…


Every time I am asked to pray, I think of the old deacon who always prayed, ‘Lord, prop us up on our leanin’ side.’ After hearing him pray that prayer many times, someone asked him why he prayed that prayer so fervently.

He answered, ‘Well sir, you see, it’s like this… I got an old barn out back. It’s been there a long time; it’s withstood a lot of weather; it’s gone through a lot of storms, and it’s stood for many years.
It’s still standing. But one day I noticed it was leaning to one side a bit.

So I went and got some pine poles and propped it up on its leaning side so it wouldn’t fall.

Then I got to thinking about that and how much I was like that old barn. I’ve been around a long time.

I’ve withstood a lot of life’s storms. I’ve withstood a lot?of bad weather in life, I’ve withstood a lot of hard times, and I’m still standing too. But I find myself leaning to one side from time to time, so I like to ask the Lord to prop us up on our leaning side, ’cause I figure a lot of us get to leaning at times.

Sometimes we get to leaning toward anger, leaning toward bitterness, leaning toward hatred, leaning toward cussing, leaning toward a lot of things that we shouldn’t . So we need to pray, ‘Lord, prop us up on our leaning side, so we will stand straight and tall again, to glorify the Lord.”


If you stare at this barn for a second you will see who will help us stand straight and tall again.

My Time’s UP?

A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to
the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience.

Seeing God she asked ‘Is my time up?’

God said, ‘No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live.’

Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and
have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck.
She even had someone come in and change her hair color and brighten her teeth!
Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.
After her last operation, she was released from the hospital.
While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, ‘I thought you
said I had another 43 years? Why didn’t you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?’

(You’ll love this)

- God replied: ‘I didn’t recognize you.’
